This notice explains what personal information dromeda-dev.com collects, why, who helps me process it, and how to have it deleted. Dromeda Development is a one-person studio run by Dante. Questions or requests: contact@dromeda-dev.com.
The short version: I collect only what you type into a form, what you enter when you book or pay, and what a portal account needs. I use it to reply to you and do the work. I never sell it.
What I collect and why
Inquiry, site-check and support forms. Your name, email and message, plus whatever else that form asks for: the package you're interested in and your website (inquiry), your website, preferred times and time zone (site check), or the product and version you're using (support). The form emails your message to me, sends you a confirmation copy, and saves the submission in my database so I can follow up. Your email is added to a short list of people I'm allowed to reply to. Your IP address is used briefly to block spam and repeat submissions. It isn't stored with your message.
Booking a call on Cal.com. When you open the booking calendar, it loads from Cal.com. What you enter there (usually your name, email, the time you pick and any notes) goes to Cal.com, which sends me the booking. Cal.com may set its own cookies once you open the calendar. I may add your email to the reply list above.
Paying through Stripe Checkout. Checkout runs on Stripe. It collects your email, the website address you enter in the "Website URL" field, your payment details, and a record that you accepted my Standard Terms. Stripe handles your card. I can see the payment, your email and your website address in my Stripe account, but never your full card number.
Portal account. If you create an account, I store your name, email and password. Passwords are stored in a hashed form that I can't read. I email you a link to confirm your address. While you're signed in, a cookie keeps your session, and the session record includes your IP address and browser type for security.
Beta program applications. If you apply to test one of my apps, I store your first and last name, email, Apple ID, the app you chose and any access code, and I email you a confirmation.
Page-view statistics. I use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites.
App error reports. If one of my desktop apps hits an update error, it can send an error report (the error message, technical details, the address involved and browser or device information). The report is filed as an issue on GitHub so I can fix the bug.
Cookies
The site itself sets one cookie, and only when you sign in to the portal: it keeps you signed in. Cal.com may set its own cookies when you open the booking calendar, and Stripe sets its own on the checkout page. There are no advertising cookies.
Who processes it for me
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site and provides page-view statistics |
| Neon | Hosts my database (form submissions, portal accounts, beta applications) |
| Resend | Sends the site's emails (form notices and confirmations, account emails) |
| Stripe | Runs checkout and processes payments |
| Cal.com | Runs the booking calendar |
| GitHub | Stores app error reports and hosts app downloads |
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. My providers may process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
What I don't do
- I don't sell your personal information.
- I don't share it for advertising.
- I use your email to reply to you and about your project, not for newsletters you didn't ask for.
How long I keep it
- Form submissions and bookings: as long as I need them to reply to you and keep a record of our conversation, or until you ask me to delete them.
- Portal accounts and beta applications: until you ask me to delete them.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require. Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
- Website backups from client projects: 30 days after handover, then deleted.
Your choices
Email contact@dromeda-dev.com to:
- get a copy of the personal information I hold about you,
- correct it,
- have it deleted, including your portal account, or
- be taken off my reply list.
I'll reply within 30 days. I may need to confirm the request comes from you, and I can't delete records the law requires me to keep, such as payment records.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS. My database is reachable only from the site's server, and portal passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but I keep what I collect to a minimum.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If I change this notice, I'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
